I have had a complete panel for all bloodwork including all thyroid tests. had a thyroid ultrasound...found a nodule...pursuing biopsy. symptoms include extreme lethargy and crying episodes along with increased migraines. Is this related or secondary?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The histopathology examination of biopsy will be helpful in rule out underlying cause for nodule.

I suggest you get checked your serum TSH, free T4, free T3 as well for primary work up to rule out hyper or hypothyroidism.

The mentioned symptoms can be related to thyroid issue. So I suggest you kindly revert back with thyroid reports.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
