What Causes Extreme Fluctuation In The BP Levels?

Hi, I got a bp monitor for my daughter who just got out of the hospital. I used to have high blood pressure, and was on atenelol (not sure how to spell that), for about two years, then it started keeping my bp too low, and have not been on medication for 3 years now. It was reading perfect for a long while, so I quit checking it. Anyway, out of curiosity, checked it 4 times these past two days, and my readings seem off to me. For example, just now, 156/45. High and low, and yesterday had one similar, and my pulse is 112-120. Is this a cause for concern? I do know the 150 s is high, but the bottom number being so low is why I m asking... Thank you!

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Most likely your machine is faulty.I have seen similar cases and when checked BP manually are ok. Better to check it manually first.
thanks
