What Causes Extreme Fatigue, Disorientation, Forgetfulness, Anxiety And Depression?

Hi, I m a 63 yr.old man, no serious medical history,,,recently, I spent about 7 months in HI, lost 35 lbs. and then returned to my CO. town of 7,000 ft. elevation. For the first month, I felt like I was 35 yrs. old, walking 3-4 miles a day, jogging, no problem,,,,over the last month, seasonal allergies hit hard, I took my regular annual steroid shot for allergies,,,felt fine for a week,,,,now, extreme fatigue, disoriented, forgetful, anxious, depressed,,,,did an oxy test on finger,,, results said I got down to 83 level during nite (whatever that means?),,,I wake up tired and feel like I was in a boxing match,,,,can t believe I could feel so good a month ago and feel so crappy now, along with borderline paranoia? I have lived in this area (Durango, CO) for over 20+ yrs. without any problem,,,,any ideas what is going on?? Depressed in Durango

earlier in high altitude there was rarrified oxygen so there was problem in walking in lesser height you will automatically improve for allergy you should avoid steroid short. it has many side effect which are induced by steroid. you should tapper it down and go for allergy test. once you isolate allergen then you can avoid them, and simple anti allergy tablet like levocetrizine will do.
