What Causes Extreme Dryness In Mouth, Burps And Breathlessness?
Extremely dry mouth, lots of burping & alot of the time wind gets stuck and the pressure builds up. Feels like i cant get a breath. Always my tummy feels like it is sommersaulting. Been happening for months. Can be scary. Have had scans, clear and blood test are ok. I have rheumatoid arthritis.
Understanding your concern. as per your query you have symptoms of extreme dryness in mouth, burps and breathlessness which seems to be due to heartburn which leads to excessive production of acid in stomach.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to
- Avoid heavy and spicy meal specially during night.
- Drink plenty of fluids and take soft and bland food.
- Avoid lying down on bed immediately after having food.
- Take sugar free chew gum to stimulate saliva.
If symptoms keeps on persisting you should visit gastroenterologist and neurologist once for dryness of mouth and reflux disease. Doctor may prescribe medications like H2 blockers and proton pump inhibitor
Hope your concern has been resolved.
