What Causes Extreme Dry Eyes And Mouth Along With Coughing?
I have extreme dry eyes and mouth. My eyelids feel like sandpaper and my mouth is so dry sometimes that I have problem talking. I also cough and feel short of breath when I laugh or exert myself. I am using moisturizing eye drops and mouth spray to alleviate symptoms. What could be causing these symptoms and how do I treat them effectively?

Dryness of eyes and mouth could be due to autoimmune disease like Sjogren's disease. I suggest you to consult your physician for clinical assessment and relevant investigations - Anti SS-A and anti SS-B. In the meanwhile, you can use artificial tears for dryness of eyes and drink plenty of water to avoid drying of mouth.
