What Causes Excessive Weight Loss And Dizziness While Suffering From Hemolytic Anemia?
My brother is 71. He has Non- Hodgkin s Lymphoma and Hemolytic Anemia with warm and cold antibodies. In the past 2 months, he has lost 30 pounds and is very dizzy. He also has slurred speech and his thought process is getting bad. He was a very active man for his age. He continually gets blood tests for his anemia and CT scans for his Lymphoma. He has been to the ER twice in the last 2 weeks and they can t find out what s wrong. He went to an Endocrinologist today and he told him it might be Hyperglycemia and to come back in September. His blood sugar is always within range. The only medication he takes is Prednisone and vitamins. Also, the endocrinologist told him he didn t think it was Addison s Disease even though he has 8 out of the 12 symptoms.
