What Causes Excessive Vaginal Discharge?

For the last few days I have leaked a lot of clear fluid out of my vagina. It doesn t smell however it is not normal for me at all. It s an awful lot too, to the point where my knickers are soaking wet half way through the day. I m now having to use sanitary towels. Another thing, which might not be related is I had what felt like cervical pain a couple of days ago whilst having sex. The discharge started the day before this.

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Excess vaginal discharges could be caused by many medical conditions like: local vaginal infection/bacteria vaginosis, PID/STI, poor douching techniques, Trichomoniasis, yeast iinfection.Painful cervix at intercourse could be due to an inflammation at the cervix(cervicitis).
I will suggest you see the Doctor for a speculum exam to visually inspect cervix, a vaginal swap smear test and chlamydia test.Your treatment will depend on findings.
Hope thiw will help
Wish you good health
