What Causes Excessive Thirst Along With Shivering?

Hello, lately I ve been having episodes of excessive thirst with shivering accompanied with it.. Excessive thirst that I feel that I would faint if I don t drink water.. And no matter how much I drink it does not go away easily.. Do you know what it may be?

Hello and welcome.

Diabetes could be the primary suspicion here and I would strongly recommend a check on your blood glucose levels and HbA1c levels.

Dehydration and, urinary and renal abnormalities are secondary on my list. Please speak to your doctor about the same.
