What Causes Excessive Thirst After Having Tamoxifen For Breast Cancer?
After recently having surgery to remove a small cancer in my breast. Followed by radiation therapy. I am now taking tamoxifen - just started - in my second week of a three month trial to be reassessed. Iam now finding I am really thirsty - is this a side effect of the drug. I have also had redness on my nose and upper cheeks which is just starting to settle down. Also diminished appetite (which possibly isn t a problem) . Thank you in advance. YYYY@YYYY ,
Hello dear.Because of the way this medicine acts on the body ,there is chance that it might cause unwanted effects that may not occur until months or years after the medicine is used. Those symptoms that you describe are from tamoxifen use.
