What Causes Excessive Sweating?

Hi, I'm 76 y.o. female. Never had hot flashes during menopause, but now, warm drinks, nerves...cause me to sweat! It's embarrassing. Even conversation starts them. I'm taking many meds, but this comes and goes with or without meds. I take Vit E to help and it has until lately. Please help.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Possible hyperthyroidism or side effects of medications.
2. Get thyroid hormone profile done. If you are on thyroxine, dosage reduction is necessary. Medications, you are on could be affecting its half life.
3. Get back with list of medications. Vit E alone cannot be helpful. Correlation with medications and thyroid hormone profile necessary.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
