What Causes Excessive Sweating And Hives On The Body After Coronary Angioplasty?
My husband had a stent put in his heart in April of this year. He has had excessive sweating ever since. Now he is getting the sweats with hives on and off during the day and night. He gets the hives as soon as he gets the hot flashes. What can he do?

It is probably due to an allergic reaction to the contrast agent. As first-line management, you can take antihistamines like pheniramine for symptomatic relief.
