What Causes Excessive Sweating And Fatigue?

I have experienced episodes of excess sweating and the feeling drained (weak), Te last time this happened, last evening, it took about a half an hour to return to normal. I've had this happen before, approximately monthly, and was wondering what it could be. My family has a history of diabetes, although I have checked my blood sugar regularly and it seems fine. I haven't checked it when I am having these episodes though.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
hello there, I have gone through your query and I see two possibilities here. As you have mentioned you have a family history of diabetes. Now when our blood sugar levels fall which is known as hypoglycemia we experience sweating and feeling weak, so I suggest you to keep a glucometer with you and check your sugars during this episode. Suppose your sugars come normal then you must be suffering from panic attacks. In panic attacks you may also feel tremors of hands, chest pain, difficulty in breathing and uneasiness. I suggest you to consult a psychiatrist for this and start on SSRI group of medicine with tab clonazepam which can help you during panic attacks. All the best
