What Causes Excessive Sleepiness?
Hi my name is Judy and I would like to know what would make a person that for as long as I can remember I slept 7 or so hours a night and for the last few months I have been sleeping for 10 to12 hours a night, I might get up to go to the bathroom but will go right back to sleep.

dear most common causes are drugs like benzodiazepines,anti psychotic,anti depressents etc..
other possibilities like restlessness leg syndrome, sleep apnea,narcolepsy, depression, chronic fatigue syndrome and anemia etc..
systemic infection may cause above symptoms. please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
