When i wake up every morning i have too much saliva in my mouth and i have to spit or ill choke, or if i do swallow it i gag! So i just end up spitting and spitting until it goes away which is when i eat something, Im only a 14 year old girl and this problem has been happening since, maybe 11. Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complain excessive salivation when suffering from sinusitis can be due to excessive mucous formation secondary to post nasal drip..
Many a times due to irritation in the throat and post nasal drip there is stimulation of the salivary glands leading to excessive salivation and there is also a possibility that there is reduced swallowing leading to feeling of excessive salivation..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned according to the cause..
In case if there is sinus infection antibiotics, decongestants ,steam inhalations and warm saline gargles can help..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
