Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Excessive mucous may be due to post nasal drip or congestion or pharyngitis or bronchitis or eustachian tube block etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Use water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

Use tablet Mucinac.

If symptoms not improved please consult your physician/ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
