At times I fall into a deep sleep and have been told I m unresponsive to voice or touch. When I wake up I just feel rested. What my concern is when I m in a complete deep sleep. What s happening to make me unresponsive to calls or sounds or movenent

Typically as people age they spend more time in light sleep.Deep sleep happens in the first sleep cycle. During this stage is very difficult to wake up a person that's why is defined as a nearly complete disengagement from environment.Thats why it's difficult to wake up to noises or touch. Nothing to worry about
