What Causes Excessive Burping In A Child?

My daughter is just 12 years old and has been experiencing these symptoms for a few months now: excessive burping over a 1-2 hr period, feelings of sickness, teeth chattering & loss of appetite. Can you tell me what this might be please? I m very worried about her.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Her symptoms might come from improper eating (less chewing, drinking excessive water while eating, eating excessive food, sleeping after eating. All of these cause faulty digestion. Some bowel infection like worm infestation, bacterial or viral infection. Please train her for proper way of eating. Consult her doctor for possible bowel infections and their specific treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
