What Causes Excessive Burping And Abdominal Pain?
I m a 60 yr old female and had a bad attack of digestive pain that led me to the ER where I had blood drawn, morphine, and an overnight stay. Now better but a lot of GED and burping. On a simple diet as was told it could be pancreatitis and to see my GI doctor. What could be the burping and GER causes?

Burping is often caused by acid problems. This happens when acid moves back into the lower end of the oesophagus. Try omeprazole and report the progress to me. This is available over the counter. I wish you well and on the lookout for your updates.
