What Causes Excess Sneezing And Allergy Inspite Of Taking Sinutab?

Hello, I have been having a bad time with my allergies this week. I was constantly sneezing and congested. I started taking sinutab for congestion and allergy relief but its not working. I feel like my condition became worse because my lymph nodes in my throat and ear started swelling. Should I start taking antibiotics?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of excess sneezing and allergy in spite of taking Sinutab is because of severe upper respiratory tract infection and allergic reaction with unknown allergen. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to wear a mask and you should try to stay inside home. You should take shower when coming from outside and take antihistamine drug like benadryl or claritin-d (combination of antihistamine and decongestant). Citrus fruits and onion water will be very helpful. you should take nasal rinses. If allergy still persist or get worse consult allergy specialist for proper examination and go for patch test to find out exact diagnosis and start treatment accordingly.
