What Causes Excess Fluid Retention In Stomach And Intestine?
My mother has portal hypertension. Both her veins to Liver is blocked but on diagnosis doctors found her liver is fine and has no cirrhosis. But now she is hospitalised due to excess fluid in her stomach and intestine Can i know the treatment for this

The possible reason for fluid retention in the intestine is an intestine obstruction. An emergency visit to ER with x-ray abdomen standing and hospital treatment is must for her.
