What Causes Episodes Of Light Headedness And Shivering?

I call them episodes but my last one was the worst. I get up and was walking towards the kitchen, felt sorta light headed then started shaking badly .then all of a sudden it was like I was pushed straight down to the floor. Once down after a sec or two the shaking stopped and my legs from the knees down so badly I could not get up for about 5 min. Two weeks later my right knee still hurts when I try to bend down . Normally in the past I have heard a real loud noise then have actually fainted. That did not happen this time but the shaking was the worst it s ever been. Not diabetic. Any clue ?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms and condition needs to be ruled out for epileptic seizure and second for TIA (Transient Ischemic attack) however what the history is given here it may not be case, you have not mentioned the age and gender here it was very much needed here for better advise, hope this information helps.
