MY SON IS 12 THIS YR BUT FOR PAST YR HE HAS HAD SMALL BREAST THAT HURT SOMETIMES AND SEEM TO HAVE A KNOTS ...HE IS TALL FOR HIS AGE AND WEIGHT IS AVERAGE HE IS NOT SKINNY OR FAT AND IS ACTIVE IN SPORTS HIS SHOE SIZE IS ALREADY A 10 AND HE IS ABOUT 5 3 AND I GET NO HELP FROM DOC HIS PRIMARY DOCTOR ...HE HAS NOT TAKEN THAT DRUG THAT CAUSES THE BREAST IN BOYS...WHAT IS IT AND WILL THIS GO AWAY

Hi, this is pubertal enlargement of breast in boys. You need not worry about this, this occurs in some boys and gradually subsides over 5 to 6 months period. Take care.
