What Causes Enlarged Tonsils With White Pus Pockets In A Child?

four year old has flu syptoms. Congested early morning, clears afternoon. More tired for the last month. Espescially after school and dance, White pucks on tonsils come and go, and enlarged tonsils. Low grade fever until tonite. fever 100. Several pimple looking spots on face, belly, and thigh. Bloodwork showed she had mono several weeks ago. She keeps going but says shes tired, some complaint of muscle pain in back of leg.

your child is having viral fever tonsillitis. Regarding rashes it may be measles Te child is to be kept under observation. with progress of measles the rashes will appear in other part of body. the nature of eruption will be effecting more peripheral part. high fever with peak stage. it is self limiting and no treatment is required except nursing care liquid diet and final stage caladryl lotion may be applied. the child is to be isolated. if no measles then tonsillitis is to be treated with antibiotic paracetamol to control fever.
