What Causes Enlarged Circumvallate Papillae?
I have enlarged circumvallate papillae and have had them for over 9 months now. I went to an ENT who seemed very unconcerned about it, but I still am slightly worried. I am a 14 month old girl and I have never smoked or anything of that sort before. Do you know what some causes for this are / how I can treat these?

The enlarged circumvallate papillae can occur because of the chronic irritation by smoking or gastroesophageal refflux disease or by hot or spicy food. Nothing to worry, it is a self limiting condition. Since you are telling it is there from past 9 months, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated.
