What Causes Elevation In The Liver Enzymes While On Protonix For Acid Reflux?
I have been taking protonix for several years ----- sometimes twice a day. I have been taking it for acid reflux, small hiatal hernia, and some esophagitis. I have been recently told that I have some elevation in my liver enzymes. Any connection between the two?

Protonix which contains pantoprazole is not responsible for your elevated liver enzymes. There may be so many reasons for elevated liver enzymes and it is also true that a slight increase in liver enzymes is not a concern.
