Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 3 weeks postpartum and my blood pressure has been in the high range for about two and a half weeks. I went to the emergency room a week and a half ago and they said it was just migraines and a sinus infection causing the high readings. I finished my antibiotic and steroid yesterday. When I took a reading tonight it was the highest one yet at 179/113! Should I go back to the emergency room or wait and try to get an appointment with either my OB or primary doctor
