What Causes Elevated Systolic Blood Pressure Levels?

Today it was discovered that when I lay down, my systolic blood pressure went up about 60 points and it was repeatable. After 18 months ago, I had triple bypass surgery and during the recuperation period, no mention was made of increased pressure when reclining. What is going on?

Hi. Systolic Hypertension can occur with these Risk factors : obesity, excessive sodium and alcohol consumption, and possibly calcium and bone metabolism.
It occurs also with a subclinical peripheral atherosclerosis.
You have to check your doctor if it repeats itself and avoid what i mention.
