What Causes Elevated Pulse Rate While Suffering From Sleep Apnea?

Hi. I am 26 years old and have sleep apnea. I m told I need my tonsils removed and I also have a deviated septum which I m told needs to be corrected. I have planned the surgeries; however, I went for a physical for a job and my pulse rate was 130. Could the high pulse rate be caused by my tonsils/ deviated septum/ sleep apnea problems?
