What Causes Elevated Liver Enzymes?

My wife and myself drank for 2 or three years every day. My wife liver enzymes were very high getting rejected for life insurance she is 59 I am 60. No previous alcohol use before will enzymes return to normal. We had parents who drank for from childhood till when they died in their 70 s

Let me know you alcohol and its metabolic product aldehyde can lead hepatocytes injury ....
So enzymes liberated in blood and its level elevated. ...

Here you not mentioned report with details....

You have to stop alcohol and investigate with USG to evaluate fatty liver , cholestasis , gall stone etc....

Take good food for liver like. ....
-Indian gooseberry
-lemon juice
-spinach
-mustard green
-dandelion
-avacados
-onion, carrot etc....

If fatty liver there you can take udiliv tablet or syrup.

Regular follow up needed with avoidence if alcohol..
