What Causes Elevated Liver Enzymes?
we r a sub-fertile couple . my wife recently taken treatment of IVF but failed to concieve. she is 40 years old . after the treatment and before the result she got regular fever every night. its 101 usually. it has been for 13 days. now LFT is been done and it is shocking that her SGBT has increased upto 1057. Alkaline Phospate, Gamma GT and Bilirubinis also inreased respectively. plz advised what to do. we tried another IVF 3 years back and at that time after all SGPT was also increased .

The raised liver enzymes after the In vitro fertility therapy seems to be in concern with drug induced hepatitis most likely, where many of the drugs are being prescribed to regulate the menses, induce the ovulation and later maintenance of uterine epithelium for possible pregnancy outcome.
