What Causes Elevated Blood Pressure Levels?

a couple of days ago my blood pressure was 195/116. I went to walk in clinic and was put on chloralthalidone my blood pressure after a day of being on a diurectic is 112/ 76 which is in the normal range. I m thrilled my blood pressure has come down significantly.
