I m on my fifth day on the way to being a non-smoker. I ve had good blood pressure with a beta blocker. Nw my BP is higher than ever. It s not because I m stressed or angry. I m not. So while smoking my BP was fine. Now I might have a stroke because I quit? I m not overweight & I ve quit a few times without this side effect. What s going on?
First check your blood pressure level... Normal blood pressure is 120/ 80mmhg.. More than that called hypertension. Obesity, smoking, stress, family history all factor affect a blood pressure.. Consult your physical for further treatment. Quite a smoking habit.. Take a low salt in diet. Excercise 20 minutes per day. Detail history and investigation give exact idea about problems. Treat underling cause.
I hope this will help you. Get well soon.. Thank you.
