General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, borderline elevation of liver function tests in terms of SGPT and SGOT does indicate early viral infection of liver pausing hepatitis. For better treatment guidelines details of history and physical examination findings are mandatory to proceed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
