What Causes Elevated ESR Levels?

Sir last 20 days am suffered from jaundice present now cured.After cured fever attacked to me.All the test are done like...blood for widal,esr,endoscopy,abdomen scan,Lft,Hemogram,cbp,routine urine analysis (+),serum HBsAg (-),chestradiograph pa view ,creatinine,pv Ags(-),pf Ags(-) Always esr is increasing present my esr is 42 What is my problem can any body give a good suggestions

Hello,

You are having fever complaint as per mentioned history. So viral infection can be there that can lead to high ESR.

The ESR can be raised due to any inflammation or infection.

After your fever subside than you again need to repeat ESR.

With the resolution of inflammation, ESR can be decreased. If still high investigate with ANA estimation.
