What Causes Elevated ESR Level Along With Red Itchy Patches All Over The Body?

Im 25 years old and my esr is 60mm... I donno why this happened... I was so well... One day i had dengu then with tht high fever and pain i was travellin and walking and straining myself and then my face hands legs and body swell and i had red patches itching all over my body and face and had difficulties with walking...later when o went to doc and took test my esr levels were really high lik120mm . How to cure and what is the cause to this esr level!?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of elevated ESR level along with red itchy patches all over the body which is probably due to lowering down your immunity and making you prone for infection. It could be due to allergic reactions and contact dermatitis. Need not to worry. Take hot milk rich in turmeric as it will boost immunity. Take combination of antiviral drug along with anti-inflammatory drug. I would suggest you to apply wet cold sheets on your body to lower down body temperature. and itchiness. Avoid hot, spicy and sharp food substances. Take diet rich in multivitamins and vitamin C. Your symptoms will resolve in 4-5 days. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist/ dermatologist once and get some routine blood investigation and skin patch test done.
