What Causes Elevated BP With Recurring Dizziness?

Hi! I get a dazed feeling in my head at times. Sometimes it is so bad I can barely comprehenn what someone is talking about. My blood pressure runs around 140/62. Could the lower number be too low? Also at times when i stand from bending over i feel faint.

HI

Thanks for posting your query.

First of all your BP is fine. Your dizziness could be due to either due to high/low blood sugars, low blood sodium levels, problems in inner ears, problems in brain.

You need to get certain tests for the evaluation of the cause of dizziness. I recommend you to get the following tests done and revert back .

Hemogobin , Fasting and Postprandial Blood Sugars , Serum Sodium levels, Serum TSH , Serum Vitamin B12 levels checked and an ECG.

Hope you find this information useful .

Any clarification feel free to ask
