What Causes Elevated BP And Tingling Sensation On The Finger Tips?

I went in for a check up because I passed out 1 night. My doctor told me I have high blood pressure at 140/90 and put me on meds. In my month before my 1 month check up for the new meds my fingertip on my right hand has been tingly (at my one month check up the nurse prac, suggested I may be experiencing carpel tunnel) then yesterday my right toe-tip was tingly also. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Generally, fingertips tingling sensation is a very common symptom. Considering that you have had this sensation for one month, in my opinion, it might be related to peripheral neuropathy.

However, I suggest you consult a neurologist for a more detailed history and physical examination, to put the right diagnosis.

You can also take vitamin B6/B12 supplements, for one month.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suela Gjata,
