What Causes Elevated BP And Headache While Suffering From Sleep Apnea?

Hi I have recently been diagnosed with sleep apnea, and are using a Cpap at night over the last 2 months. I am currently suffering from high blood pressure and have had a few headaches over the last couple of weeks, which is being investigated, but now over the last week I keep smelling petrol fumes in my car and in my house, should I mention this to my go or will it just disappear. Many thanks
