What Causes Elevated ALT Levels?

I take labs once a month because I have ITP and CLL my last cbc today showed all good and normal values. I had for the first time a high ALT of 65 usually in mid teens. I feel well no yellowing of skin or eys. or pain this is the first time I have hAD A HIGH ALT should be a worry? I take meds and iron supplement.

The alt is not that high so firstly do not get upset as it's not a serious problem.

Well as you have no sign and symptoms of any sorts of I were your doctors I would have rechecked the medications that you are taking nowadays as some medications cause a mild elevation in alt.

The second thing is to measure your weight and do an ultrasound for the liver. Sometimes fatty liver can give raised alt. Both are benign conditions, don't worry and visit your GP.
