General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
The symptoms you describe could be consistent with fibromyalgia but i must say it is a difficult diagnosis to come by.Other more orienting symptoms include fatigue/sleep disorders and cognitive difficulties. However, people with fribromyalgia are very sensitive to pain and other stimuli and feeling of electric shocks common given their sensitivity.Given the fact that most symptoms of fibromyalgia are also found in other medical conditions and there is no specific test for fibromyalgia, i will advise other medical conditions like metabolic problems be excluded and ionic work-ups be done if not yet realized.A fasting Blood Sugar test will also be good.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
