What Causes Electric Shock Sensations In Cheeks And Neck?

Hello, I had a face & neck lift 4 months ago, & I m experiencing much burning & electric type little shocks down both sides of my face as well in my cheeks & into neck area. Also, it feels hard & hurts to touch. I have been doctoring with acute sinusitis, but it just doesn t seem to me that s the problem. Please help me, I m in excruciating pain.

Hello. I have been through your question and understand your concern.

I think you are experiencing some inflammation of the tissues of the face due to the procedure. This inflammation might compress the nerves, especially the branches of the trigeminal nerve, causing the sensations you are describing. You need a neurological consult to better evaluate the symptoms and prescribing you the eventual treatment.
