What Causes Electric Shock Sensation Around The Neck While On Sertraline?

I have upped my dosage On seritralin to 200mg I feel like I have electric shocks around my neck, head and chest... my back is painful to touch at the top of my shoulders almost like muscle strain. I suffer with OCD and I do try to catch my breath a lot

As per my clinical experience, the excess dosage of sertraline does have side effect of chest discomfort and body ache, but in your case, the exacerbated effects are due to underlying anxiety. I suggest to revert back with the same previous dosage and consult your psychiatrist for OCD medications modifications.
