What Causes Ear Infection Followed By High Fever In A Child?
My daughter is 6yrs old she had an ear infection on March 3rd she was running reaally high fever giving antibiotics, today I picked her up from school and did not look good she started crying that her left leg was hurting a lot I had to carry her from the car to my house checked her right away and she is running 102.1 fever, and I can really tell she lost weight from when she got the ear infection

The infection could possibly be otitis, which is the ear infection. she might had throat infection before which is the commonest cause of ear infection in children. You should go for a 5 day course of Amoxilline 625mg after every 8 hours.
