General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the recurrent ear discharge post tympanoplasty indicates:
- Bacterial infection with staphylococcus or Pseudomonas bugs
- Recurrent otitis media from strep pneumonie, moraxella or hemophilus influenze B
- Low immunity
- Inadequate or incomplete post operative follow up
- Infection in post surgical hematoma
- Uncontrolled diabetes (if previous history)

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
