Hello,

As per your query you have symptoms of ear congestion and tinnitus which seems to be due to ear wax accumulation leading to Eustachian tube dysfunction.Need not to worry. I would suggest you to

- Maintain hygiene of the ear canal.
- Do valsva maneuvers.
- Avoid touching or pricking ear with a sharp object.
- Apply dry warm compresses on external ear.
- Do warm saline gargles.
- Do blowing exercises as well as it will help in releasing pressure.

You should consult ENT specialist once for a proper checkup. The doctor may order blood tests and throat swab tests. The doctor may prescribe antibiotics like gentamycin along with anti-inflammatory medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
