What Causes Ear Ache Along With Sweating?
Hi, Doctor its Manisha,i just wanted to know vertin tab. is for ,my dad has some problem in his right side ear ,when he sleepm he suddenly got the severe pain in his right side ear and started sweating within 2 minutes ,This problem has been started from last 2 year in interval of 6-7 months depend not fix. And when he start taking vertin tab. he feel better with the course of 1 month and on that time he was not able to sleep as well.so plz tell me in brief whats this issue is? and plz suggest me any good doctor for better treatment in pune/mumbai plz.....

To answer your first question, Vertin is used usually for giddiness that is Vertigo as we call.
The commonest cause for the suffering of your Father I can think is a problem with the middle and internal ear affecting a structure called semicircular canals. Inflammation or any change in pressure in these canals can cause giddiness.
Inability to sleep may be related to his anxiety and stress. Other causes can be found out on clinical evaluation by your Doctor and ENT Surgeon.
Hence I would advise him the following:
Consult an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, ENT Endoscopy and further investigations related to Vertigo like CT and MRI of the mastoids and brain.
Tests of blood and urine.
All these will lead to a proper diagnosis and gives a plan of management
