Your description of your pain sounds like gallbladder pain. Is it worse if you eat a high-fat meal (that is characteristic of GB pain). When was your gallbladder removed? If it was recently, you could could still be having pain from your surgery. If it was years ago, you can still have a retained stone or a small piece of your gall bladder or common bile duct that can give you problems. I would recommend that you make a pain diary and write down every time you get it and what you are doing. You can discuss it with your doctor, and if they think you need it then they may refer you for an abdominal ultrasound and/or do some blood work. If you start getting a fever and/or vomiting, I would recommend you go to an urgent care or the ER to get checked out for an infection or an obstruction.
