What Causes Dryness And Itching Sensation On The Vulva?

Hello. I need help. I am sexually active, me and my boyfriend recently started having sex. He is not my first sexual partner. Yesterday, my vulva started feeling very itchy, and it is dry. I have no other symptoms, it doesn t hurt to pee or anything. We haven t had sexual relationships in about two weeks so I don t know if this could be caused by sex. Because of school, I will not be able to go to see a doctor until probably Wednesday. I am not asking for an exact diagnosis, but for possible ones. Also, I wear contraceptive patches and have been wearing them for about 9 months.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As per your history is concerned it is a mild mixed infection so tell your primary care physician to prescribe Antibiotics+Antifungal[Cefixime+Metronidazole+Clotrimazole]. Take full course and it will be clear.

I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me. Wishing you all the best.

Thanks,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
