What Causes Dry Mouth And Soreness On The Tongue?

Have had a way/dry feeling in mouth..mostly in the evening. And a whitish tongue off and on for weeks. Have tried dietary changes..Have tried tongue scraping and home remedies for thrush but tongue is sore. All of these symptoms are worse in the evening before bed. Any ideas of what is causing this?

Thanks for the query..

Well of there is white coating on tongue then it is probably due to Oral Thrush..

Due to Oral Thrush there is dryness in mouth..

Soreness is also secondary to yeast infection..

So my suggestion is to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..

You can be advised antifungal agents like Nystatin mouthwash, suck Clotrimazole lozenges..
Do specialised mouthwash gargles like Magic mouthwash..
For dryness chew sugar free chewing gum.
