General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Feeling like going to sleep (also called drowsiness) is a common side effect especially when first started or when changing the dose.

You can discuss with your doctor to cut off the dose and see if this effect is still present. Do not drink alcohol or drive your car while taking oxycodone.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
